Frequently Asked Questions

We operate like a classifieds platform - similar to specialty coin forums or Facebook Marketplace. You and the buyer arrange payment directly. Common methods include PayPal (Friends & Family or Goods & Services), Venmo, Zelle, bank wire, USPS money order, or cash for local transactions. This keeps our platform free with zero fees.
You can also bypass our internal offer system and link your listing directly to your existing storefront (online store, eBay coin listing, Heritage auction page, etc) to which a payment can be made, effectively using our platform as a free advertisement for your coin.
Yes! There are no listing fees, no selling fees, and no payment processing fees. We may offer optional promotional features in the future (like featured listings), but these will always be optional and at the seller's choice. Basic listing and selling will remain free.
Shipping is between you and the buyer. For high-value coins and bullion, most sellers use USPS Registered Mail with full insurance and signature confirmation - it's the gold standard for coin shipping. UPS and FedEx with declared value also work for slabbed pieces. Always pack in rigid mailers or boxes with padding to protect slabs and raw coins. You can include shipping in your price or add it separately - it's your call.
We welcome the full numismatic spectrum - U.S. and world coins, ancients, modern bullion (Eagles, Maples, Krugerrands, etc.), commemoratives, error coins, tokens, and exonumia. Both raw and slabbed coins are welcome. Third-party graded coins (PCGS, NGC, ANACS, ICG) and AU/UNC raw coins move quickly. The only requirement is authenticity - no counterfeits or knowingly misattributed pieces. Cleaned, damaged, or "details"-graded coins are fine if accurately disclosed.
No. Slabbed coins from PCGS, NGC, ANACS, or ICG sell faster and at higher prices because buyers trust the grade and authentication, but raw coins are absolutely welcome. If your coin or bullion item is graded, the certificate number must be provided when you list it — this is standard practice so buyers can verify the grade with the issuing service. If you're selling raw, take clear, well-lit photos of the obverse, reverse, and edge. Be specific in your description about strike, luster, surface marks, and any cleaning or environmental damage. Honest disclosure builds reputation and avoids disputes.
Since payments are handled directly between buyers and sellers, disputes are handled through your payment provider (PayPal Goods & Services, etc.). We recommend payment methods with buyer protection for higher-value coins. Our reputation system also helps identify trustworthy sellers. If you encounter issues, contact us and we'll do what we can to help mediate.
You have full control over your listings. Mark a listing as Sold and the price is struck through with a Sold badge while the listing stays visible (helpful for collectors browsing your past pieces). You can also mark inactive to hide it entirely from public view, or delete it permanently. No waiting periods or approvals needed.
Not at all. While we provide a built-in "Make an Offer" form as the default, you can customize this button to link directly to your eBay store, Heritage auction page, your own website, or any URL of your choosing. Especially useful for dealers cross-listing inventory across multiple platforms.
